Gross profit
(Bruttoresultat) 		Termen bruttoresultat är inte entydigt definierad. Men oftast avser man:
+ Försäljningsintäkter
- Kostnad för råvaror och komponenter
= Bruttoresultat

Med en traditionell uppställning av resultaträkningen kan bruttoresultat definieras som Resultat före personalkostnader.

Ibland låter man avskrivningar ingå som en minuspost när man beräknar bruttoresultatet, men praxis varierar.
